Collapsing > Ancored again
/Turning a stable ruin into a culture house

The old steel anchors that remain in the outer walls of the ruin tell the story of the old stable’s original tectonics. The forces and mutual dependence of the bearing and the borne, the shielding and the shielded. A large roof is recreated in the shape of the collapsed one. The new wood construction mirrors the anchors to both support the existing brick walls and also hold the inner panels, made entirely out of repurposed materials.
